To draw and paint is to actively notice. This attention is a doorway to gratitude and connection. Give and take. Hand and eye.  

I am in love with the world, the way the light falls in this moment and the fragile architecture of plants. I have mystical appreciation for the beautiful abstraction found in the natural world. Each bloom corresponds to a particular moment in time that is fleeting and alive. I hold myself to this moment. I am always a beginner, seeing things for the very first time.

I love sharing my work and also creating space for others to make art at Brushstrokes, a community art space I have owned and operated since 1997.
